Meet the Team

Meet the team behind Touch of Beauty and see who will be looking after your pampering needs. Find out a bit about what they like to get up to when not at the salon.

Hannah

Hi I'm Hannah and I am the proud owner of Touch of Beauty. I always dreamt of having my own salon and I am so glad I achieved that goal with the help of some very important people.

I have been in the Beauty Business for about 15 years now, having spent 2 years at college then being fortunate enough to work at a high end salon where I learnt so much and worked my way up to being a Senior Therapist and then Assistant Manager.

I really love the more holistic, hands on style of therapy and according to all my clients they love that too. I wanted my own salon to have those extra little touches that turn an appointment into an experience. Nothing is more satisfying than helping people to feel better about themselves.

They say things are meant to be and finding this location for the salon is an example of that. Everything fell into place and thanks to my partner and parents and a lot of hard work it is now a haven of peace and a place I love coming to work for.

I mentioned my partner Ash, now husband, who has worked so hard on the structure of both salons(with the massive help of my amazing dad too) and they have done a great job. He also puts up with me which is not always an easy job! We have a gorgeous little boy and are expecting a little brother or sister for him in May 2023, alongside our little fur baby Inka, a cocker spaniel who we got as a puppy and is now over 7 years old. She occasionally accompanies me to the salon and with her beautiful puppy dog eyes she makes sure all my clients fall in love with her.

Ash and I are both members of a local Bonfire Society along with my mum and we love spending our Saturdays in October and November going out, getting dressed up and processing with a flaming torch at various different location. I love fireworks and its great standing by the bonfire watching them with my man and all our fellow Bonfire Boyes & Belles.

Anyway that's me. All I can say is that taking the plunge and opening Touch of Beauty was the best thing for me and although it's hard work it is so satisfying to know I am doing a good job that helps people in so many ways. I feel so lucky and grateful to have this opportunity & for those around me that have helped me live my dream.

Emily

Hi my name is Emily, and I have worked at Touch of Beauty for over 3 years now.

I have known Hannah for a number of years now, firstly when we worked together at the same salon and then as friends. Having herself taken the step to set up her lovely business I am thrilled and excited that she has given me this opportunity to join her here.

I have been a fully qualified Beauty Therapist for 7 years now and although I have experienced lots of different training throughout that time I am very keen to learn more in the future.

What I love about my job is making people feel good about themselves, and giving them some precious me time.

I am newly engaged and am enjoying starting to plan our wedding for a few years time and I have recently also become an Auntie for the first time, so am enjoying the lovely baby hugs!

I can't wait to meet all of "Touch of Beautys" wonderful clients and I look forward to working alongside Hannah.

Sue

Hi, my name is Sue and first & foremost I am the proud Mum of Hannah, Touch of Beauty's owner and her big brother Matthew.

In a past life I was a florist for about 25 years but in more recent years I have worked in the Travel & Tourism sector and an Assistant Manager & Postmistress in a village Community Shop. I have recently retired so I am now a lady of leisure as they say.

I, like Hannah am a member of a local Bonfire Society and  like nothing better then getting dressed up and walking round with a flaming torch and a hip flask of rum throughout October and November!

While I don't actually work at the salon I like to think I give moral support to the girls in the background helping out with some of the admin, fetching and carrying supplies and of course always being happy to be a guinea pig for any treatments.

Now I am retired it also means I will be helping out with some Nanny Daycare for my little grandson when Hannah is at the salon which will be an absolute pleasure.

"Touch of Beauty" is a little family and it's a privilege to be the Mum of that family.

Inka

Hello I'm Inka and I am obviously the most important member of the team at Touch of Beauty.

I was born over 7 years ago and if I say so myself I was a very cute puppy. My posh kennel club name is Inka Coco Daydreamer. I am a working cocker spaniel (the working part is up for discussion).

I live with my mum and dad and now my little brother who I must say is very noisy. I can wrap everyone round my little paw as I just give them that look. I do like chilling at the salon with mum and having a tummy rub from her lovely clients but I must admit I really love going to my doggy daycare  and playing with all my friends. My human friends there seem to think I get up to mischief but I just call it natural curiosity.

Like I said I am meant to be a gundog not that I'm overkeen on guns but I do love going out with dad and  I am doing great at finding and retrieving so who knows I could be a champion one day. However I like nothing more then a good cuddle after all that work. Just remember if you meet me at the salon tummy rubs are essential.
